Description

Library payments for the following services:

Alumni membership £50

Alumni are past staff and students of the University of East London. 

 UEL alumni may borrow up to 5 books at a time from the libraries for a fee of £50 per annum. 

Please make your payment online and visit the library Helpdesk at Stratford or Docklands during staffed hours with your Alumni Network Passport ID and proof of your address to activate your account.   Check the Library website for the helpdesk opening hours.

 

External membership £50

Local teachers and FE lecturers from Newham state-funded schools and colleges may borrow up to 5 books at a time from the libraries for a fee of £50 per annum. 

Please make your payment online and visit the library Helpdesk at Stratford or Docklands during staffed hours with your proof of your address:  recent utility/council tax bill (no more than 3 months old) and a valid ID (driving licence or passport and your work ID) to activate your account

Card Replacement fees £5

Replacement for lost or damaged External membership library ID Card

This ID gives you access to our libraries and borrowing rights for users who have paid membership fees. You will be able to collect your ID card from the library helpdesks at Docklands or Stratford once you receive the confirmation of purchase email. Check the Library website for the helpdesk opening hours.


Replacement for lost book - variable

Please make payment on-line for the replacement of lost or damaged book(s) costs that you have been invoiced for.  Please note that the item(s) will be cleared from your account once we have received notification about your online transaction. We aim to process online payments within two working days. You will need to allow longer for your account to be updated over the weekend and during Bank Holidays / University closed periods.

IMPORTANT:

If you pay the replacement cost and later find the lost book within one month, we may refund your payment on the production of the receipt and if the book is in good condition.
